Come away to the English Countryside and rediscover deep rest.
Kimberly Coyle and Christie Purifoy invite you to join them with a small group of women for a week immersed in the timeless quiet of a historic English country farmhouse filled with beauty, charm, and open spaces. Together, we will keep a gentle rhythm of seeing and doing while reserving plenty of time simply to be.
Let us care for you as you linger over memorable meals at long tables, as you enjoy countryside rambles on June afternoons, and as you encounter art–not in a museum–but within the very landscape that inspired it.
In storied spaces and cozy nooks, in formal gardens and flowering meadows, in tearooms and market towns, together we will enter the spacious place our souls require to find the essential things we may have lost in the tumult of the last few years. The charming Cotswolds will slow the rush of time, sacred churches will invite us to reflect, and the scented roses of English gardens in June will reawaken our senses.
And we will rest.

Who is this for?
Women, those in transition, those facing life season shifts, someone with decisions on the horizon, someone in need of space for listening and discernment, caregivers in need of respite and renewal, those longing for rest. If you love the romance of a perfumed rose in full bloom, then the English countryside in the month of June is an experience that can’t be missed.
What will we offer?
We will offer the opportunity to be attentive to your own soul. We will take care of you for a week, lifting the burden of decision-making for a while. We will create a space to encourage soul rest and renewal of mind and body. We will offer a gentle invitation to listen deeply (to God, to your own heart, your own needs and desires). We will offer gifts of art, story, poetry, and beauty to help you rediscover or perhaps experience for the first time, deep rest.
When you retreat into rest with us, we will move slowly through a gentle itinerary of excursions, special meals at home, and solitary walks in gardens.
The English countryside is what fairytales are made of, except it’s real. It’s no wonder so many painters, poets, and writers came from this part of the world. And the month of June is a month of pure enchantment. Rest in a hidden gem of England.
Rooming
Because we are offering a retreat rather than a tour, we have chosen our unique setting with care. Our small group of women will have full use of a historic Cotswold farmhouse and converted stone barn on a gated estate with easy access to footpaths for countryside rambles. Instead of hotel staff and other guests, we have alpacas, sheep, and pigs. While the thought of sharing a room or a bathroom might at first seem like an inconvenience, we have found that it can be the catalyst for the kind of connection and conversation that nourishes our souls. And though some bedrooms and bathrooms are shared, there is a quiet solitude and even privacy available in this homelike setting that sets it apart from typical hotel accommodations. The gardens, heated pool, tennis court, and cozy Aga-warmed kitchen are all ours and ours alone.
Several rooms have twin beds. We will assign roommates to these rooms. Several double occupancy rooms with a king bed are perfect for friends who know each other. We have limited rooms set aside for single use.
Where is the property located?
In the English Countryside! Accessible to London. More details will be released once you’ve confirmed your spot.
Payment
After you’ve paid the deposit ($495 nonrefundable), you will have the option to make one, two, or three payments. We desire to make this retreat affordable to women who truly need this experience. We can work with you to make monthly payments for an additional (small) fee. The final balance will be due 90 days before the retreat date.
