A PLACE WITH SOUL & STEEPED IN HISTORY
Step back in time as you cross the threshold of this stunning property. Helen has created a magical space that welcomes you with warmth and romance, inviting you to sink in, relax and stay awhile. The moment you step foot on the grounds, you feel a sense of peace and tranquility. Helen’s vision for this place is to create a hamlet that would bring together creatives and artists for decades to come. This is only the beginning of this next chapter that makes up this ancient space.
Court House Farm is located in southwestern, England outside of Bristol, tucked away off the high street of the seaside town of Portishead. This hidden gem will not only take you by surprise but also take your breath away. Last Spring when I first visited, Helen took some time to share this lovely property with me. We wandered the gardens where she pointed out how she would design her rose and dahlias beds. Imagine my delight when I returned six months later to discover the fruit of her labor. What an incredible garden Helen has created! Not only is it a joy to wander among the flowers but for a small fee, you can cut and create your own bouquets of flowers. I love that she has vases full of flowers scattered throughout the house.
As much as the outside tells a story, the inside gives way to another world of wonder. Each room has a story to tell. Imagine.. over 600 years of history! They have only begun to unearth the stories. Read more here.
