Sonny Stores is a neighborhood restaurant deli serving Italian-influenced food. Hands down the best meal while in Bristol. Expect a small menu of freshly prepared dishes and a wonderful wine list. I started with salted marcona almonds. Next, the star of the show: pumpkin pansotti pasta in a brown butter sauce. Memories of this dish will stay with me for a long time. I ended with a flat white too full to indulge in their delicious looking desserts.

The restaurants are also known for their homemade flatbreads and pizzas - topped with lashings of chili oil, oozing mozzarella, and daily-changing toppings. What started as a takeaway pizza service has evolved into something truly lovely. An unexpected surprise.
